Because that kind of people can only exist amid a wealthy and luscious existence, which is where this "philosophical" current originates from, modern academia.

To understand modern academia, you just need to imagine this: imagine a classroom full of basedboys and young women sitting in front of their expensive macbooks that were bought with daddy's money hearing inane leftist drivel (i.e. religious sermons from Marx, Freud and other prophets). Now realize these people have been living on a cloud, they'd never had to care about anything, not about money, not about shelter, not about food. No matter what, they'd still had those things no matter what happened around them, therefore everything was a non-issue for them, nothing that was going on in the world had the slightest impact on their quality of life. They spent their whole lives climbing through the academical ladder just by memorizing rubbish just to put it on papel and forget about it. They didn't even need to ponder about it, no need to further their knowledge, they just had to memorize enough to be able to fake intelligence or knowledge.

So, we have a person that: has his basic necessities secured (food, shelter, money, etc.), their quality of life rivals that of ancient kings, and whether they ever cared about anything or not, nothing had ever have any effect on it or changed it.

Now my question is, why would such a person care about anything? Or why would such a person need to even have a deep thought about anything?
