This and it's predecessor, A Cloudspotter's Guide, are both nothing short of grappling reads.
The author has a knowledge weaving in and out of multiple sciences and maintains a very mellow yet upbeat mood in his writing.
The book in my picture has a few sections on the currents of both waves and the wind and the author's prior work integrates wind directly into a good handful of chapters.
Both are very charming reads and well-worth your time.
