Then your opinions are dead on arrival, because this is not some ideological or theoretical debate first.

This is first an issue of humans being savagely murdered and cultural monuments being destroyed by terrorists. You seem to think that these actions are exempt from public outrage, which further proves how caught up you are in your strange idealism.

You proceed to slam public outrage about Islamic terror into narrow categories: if you're outraged, then you're a secularist, and you are just trying to feel triumphant in your own belief. No and no. Fundamentalist terrorism is condemned by various religions I believe you'll find, INCLUDING PEOPLE WHO LIVE UNDER ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM.

So you can go tell the families of victims of terrorism that they're "monopolizing Truth" and that they "should make tolerance their goal".

Meanwhile Islamic fundamentalists will continue to revel in that "tolerance" as they continue to commit heinous crimes against humanity. And innocent Muslims will continue to suffer in real ways, and you will continue to believe that your "tolerance" is a theoretical or ideological victory.
