The mom is really weird. She's overly obsessed/excited with budgeting and living an 'ordinary' life. If you asked her what her interests are she would probably say it is 'budgeting'.

There has to be some personal issues she isn't addressing deep down. What does /lit/ think is the problem (if any)? Does she perhaps just find an ordinary religious life fulfilling?
