I think readers will put about 1/100th as much stock as you do into the setting and worrying about these things just makes it unnecessarily difficult on yourself. Just because there's one /tg/ autist out there that will complain about the castle locations being unrealistic because they're not located near a stone quarry and berate you for not fully fleshing out trade routes and tectonic plates doesn't mean readers will actually care. Even the /tg/ autist won't actually care, not really.
