I've actually read a few meta-studies concerning the bias of male researchers during the peer-review process that show that it is indeed a real thing.

Also - for the most of history women weren't considered individuals who should be educated or worth investing money into educating. I think women see and hear these people who say that because in history men are the one's who have won the most praise for their achievements and succeeded the most and come to the conclusion that because there are for example a minority of credited and lauded women scientists that science isn't for them because they don't have the natural aptitude for it that men do, and this makes me sad.

It's our duty as men of the future to foster inquiry and curiosity in our daughters so that one day the history books are filled with an equal number of famous men and women scientists. Then and only then will this argument be somewhat quieted within the minds of the general populace.

I really hope you see the wisdom in learning some approximation of the truth rather than walking through life eating half-truths and misinformation till your grave.
