the judge raped then ate the kid.

it's a response to melville: instead of ishmael escaping moby dick and ahab, he's fucked and eaten.

Tips for getting past writer's block? I have this novel I've been working on lately, but writer's block has been causing me some serious frustration lately and I haven't been able to get anything done.

Hitler was two years below Wittgenstein and probably physically weak. They were actually only born six days apart, but the former was held back a year while the latter pushed forward one. I doubt Adolf could touch Witty.

Athiest philosophers, explain why you or I should do anything with my life considering that we're just going to die anyway. Not only that, but everybody you or I ever know, and every single person that ever will be will die eventually.

Additionally athiest philosophers, please explain why would be wrong for me to take a knife and kill somebody with it. After all, that person is just going to die anyway, and what was their life as compared to the infinite of time. How can the act reflect badly on me when the values you have ascribed to me are human-based and are destined towards extinction.

It portrays an indentured servant worked to death as he was picking up stones from the field that he was then to till etc. Weeping over his dead body is his wife who's left with nothing and is probably going to die in work house somewhere.
If you can't translate this to everywhere else in the world and every time period, then okay. But you're wrong and you know it.

When you say fedora, I presume you're referring to the one worn by Bogart or something of that ilk - like that one picture with that one fedora-wearing ginger compared to that one previously mentioned Bogart. You're not using fedora like Wikipedia suggests a lot of people do: a generic term for any kind of men's hat that doesn't already have a specific name.
Tl;dr: when you say fedora you're thinking about sucking off Bogart like everyone else - or else you wouldn't have been so specific as to use the word "fedora".
This means that when you compare a fedora to a pipe, you're comparing any kind of pipe to Bogart's fedora - which means you're wrong or that you at least need to elaborate on your statement for it to be taken seriously, because pipe is at the very least way too broad a term if you want to compare it to the fedora's ability to bring classiness to the table.
Tl;dr: ur mum and this

Stay away from Derrida and the likes, honestly.
If deconstructivism was so interesting or had any real use, the people who "invented" it wouldn't have tired of it so quickly.
And if you're in any kind of school, you probably won't need it, and it probably won't be able to give you any cheap points.

Confederacy of Dunces and Don Quixote because they're funny and Quixote in particular strangely uplifting.

But that's the wrong way to go about it.
If we choose to ignore the immense faggotry of OP's post, the right thing would be to read either Zarathustra or Beyond Good and Evil first.
Zarathustra IS basically Beyond Good and Evil and vice versa, and Zarathustra or Beyond Good and Evil sum up and constitute the megalomaniac that was Nietzsche - if there existed a Nietzsche's Greatest Hits, those would be it. His other works, like the Gay Science, are just fragments, or, like the Birth of Tragedy, borderline crazy ramblings.
Read Zarathustra first, as it's the more pleasant read. Then read Beyond Good and Evil, and read Zarathustra once more. Then you have finally into Nietzsche.

How fast can you read?
How long does it take you to finish a book?

I probably take a bout a week to finish a 150 page book. Is this bad? That's why I try and avoid big books.
