How do you guys feel about the extermination of damsel in distress love interests in fantasy?
It's weird because in romance books written by women, it's still extremely common for the Female protagonist to be a damsel.

>but all the characters feel weirdly off
>they don't react how i'd expect a human to react

Now i'm not trying to be rude or anything and i did enjoy the book.
It was just interesting how i could feel that something was strange without knowing anything about the author.
