This is a book written by Theodore Kaczysnki, also known as the unabomber. As a standalone piece of literature, it is a work of sociology and philosophy that would be very valuable for almost anyone to read, whether or not they were anti-tech in any regard. Kaczynski's system of though is largely influenced by 20th century French philosopher Jacques Ellul and his work 'The Technological Society'.

As far as I know, this is the first audiobook that has been made for this work.
