YEah, I often wonder why non-fiction writers, such as philosophers write such long books. Why don't they just summarize their work in say 30 pages and save everyone the hassle of reading the whole goddamn thing. Amirite?

Okay, /lit/, I have a problem for you, and I hope that you can supply me with the answer.
A few years ago, I read a collection of short stories, all written by a single author. I would like to find the title of this collection and / or the name of the author.
I'm pretty sure that the book was published within the last 20 years (probably within the last 10). I'm also pretty sure that the title mentioned some sort of crab (the focus of one of the last of the stories). The short story that the title was based on was about a large crab that had been a child actor, and an interview with him.

I am so happy right now.

I started dating a girl who is significantly dyslexic, but she still enjoys books. So she listens to audio books and then reads the hard copy to increase her reading level.

Just my luck, she proclaimed to me that she loved the Twilight series when we started discussing our favorite novels.

But this week is a SUCCESS! I procured for her copies of the entire Song of Ice and Fire audio book series so far and loaded them to her phone. She is now in love with it and cannot stop 'reading' it.

I believe I have saved one.
