Read Ludwig Klages' The Spirit as Enemy of the Soul if you want more info as to why this is bad

I am reading Marx, Freud, Lacan, Bataille and Kojeve currently. I want to read Hyppolite and Zizek on Hegel next along with Badiou's Theory of the Subject. The first marxists I read were the Situationists; Debord and Vaneigem. Briefly flirted with l/acc back before young Land was a thing on /lit/ (I believe I was one of the first posters to meme him). I have read Plant and Fisher. I am familiar with most of the Frankfurt school.

Does this book truly have anything to offer? I like the beep beep lettuce podcast...

I am reading Agamben's On Method and it seems to nicely go beyond identity and difference. Also deals interestingly with the logic of sense as occupying a midway between hermeneutics and semiotics. Postmodern semioticians fail to grasp the hermeneutic force of truth imparted via the confluence of signatures. Also reading about the dream phenomena as autopoetic. I am freaked out. My friend asked me who I was and I had no clue. I am a an ex-psychotic who is medicated now and sane but unemployed and totally disillusioned with my philosophy career. I kinda had a romantic dream of beig a hippie wanderer but now I must be in contact with doctors for my meds. But fuck a nine-to-five. I also have bad eyesight so I can't drive. Public transport sucks here in USA. Oh well. Guess I will read more philosophy and finish my degree. Really tempted to read Stirner as a last resort. I read Nietzsche years ago and it no longer helps me restrain the clawing existential chaos. From void to void. Voidless form.
