why should I care that they are collecting data ?

Pro:
>ebooks are cheaper
>some are free
>and can be pirated if you are a faggot
>some torents can give you like 1000 books or mangas just like that
>mangas are also cheaper
>download is less than a minute, and no shortage ever
>some are waterproof
>can be read in the dark
>in bed
>battery last like an entire week if not more
>recent models look as good as paper, and with different option for paper color etc
>can fit in jacket
>and whatever i am missing


Is there any reasons to dislike ereader ? some say you get less retention, others have issues with private information or whatever, why would you be against ereaders ?

About to buy 32g, ad-free, paperwhite. I’ve never actually used ebooks before—is there anything I should know? I assume I can torrent somewhere, right?

I can't compel myself to read on a Kindle like I would with a physical book.
