Can we talk about Robert Gildebrant (or whatever the male pseudonym she uses is)? I read that some books were published by this Robert guy and in his bio in the book it says that he worked for private security for a few years, somewhere else a reviewer said he reads like he had experience writing, that it didn't feel like a first time author's book. Then there's something about an AI with like 90% accuracy claiming that Robert wrote Harry Potter, then JK coming out and claiming that she wrote those books under a male pseudonym. I find it weird that this "pen-name" has a little bio where it claims he worked for private security for some years and I think it even names where he worked. If you are writing under a pen-name, can you make up you fake identity's bio and get away with it? I don't know, seems odd.

Hi /lit/, I need help finding a kids picture book I read around 1993, all I can recall is that I think it looked somewhat water color style and there's a page where the girl in it imagines swimming in a one piece bathing suit, and I think some pages have floral designs.

I can't shake off the feeling that protestants are not Christians. I want to suggest to a friend to go to the Church, but I know they'll go to a protestant church, and I'm not convinced it'll do much good. It's like suggesting people to "read a book" but they just read YA. In the end, it doesn't help even if sounds good in theory.
