I hate the days when all I wanna do is sleep and I end up sleeping my day away

I'm struggling bros. I honestly think Christianity is true but I'm having difficulties making steps towards finding Christ. When I think about dying and being eternal and having to give up this world it honestly bugs me. Obviously I have to do so no matter what but I get anxious imagining eternity from my perspective making me want to flee from Christianity and be content with just ceasing to exist but I know its likely not the case. Is this where I meet the end of intellectual contentplation of God and now must actively live the church life to come to grips? I'm a catechumen at my local orthodox church but covid has made it difficult to attend classes and now lent is putting it further on hold.

Tl;dr I can't keep my original weird view in light of philosophical revelations about Christ but get existential dread thinking about eternity.

I've browsed this site since 2008 and it has iredeemably changed me as a person where I can't connect with the average joe anymore. Thankfully I have a good group of friends who are also Canadian shitposters.
