Hello frens. Do any of you know of a book with which I could functionally teach myself to speak Norwegian. At this moment in my life, I can speak Russian and French and, of course, English, so I don't believe that teaching myself a new language should be an impossible feat. I am not looking for a dictionary, or book which simply focuses on specific aspects of the language, such as grammar. I am looking for a book which goes over enough of the basics to get me to a functional fluency which includes practices and written exercises for the reader to complete, but I would like something affordable, so not quite on the level of a college textbook. Would you have any suggestions?
