I've also stuck it in a girl who likes the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, but she's a bitch. Seeing that book by her bed almost made me want to get back together with her.
But about the ex i still miss. Yeah, it's rare, and it's been hard to explain to my friends why i felt the way i did, so i just dropped the subject.
It's a bad feeling, trying to date someone that's not her and being utterly bored, it's also unfair to those girls for me to compare them to her. Not that i'm successful with girls anyway.

At this point i just appreciate that she exists and that we spent some wonderful time together.

I used to own an assassin's creed book. I never read it though. I still wonder if it was a good book.

I've read The Martian Chronicles and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and enjoyed them both a ton. Which new wave sci-fi novels should I also read?

I'm currently reading Ender's Game. After I'm finished, I plan on reading Dune or The Foundation series. Which would you recommend reading first, /lit/?

How did you guys get started on books outside your comfort zone? I mainly read fantasy or Sci-fi just to let go and daydream a while. Books on programming because of genuine interest. I've been thinking about branching out to something classical or philosophy, but I'm concerned it might go over my head. Any tips other than "just pick a book and read it anon"?

I just want to stay up all night reading and taking notes, drafting little poems, scribbling down thoughts, acting out scenes, dreaming about fantasy worlds, applying philosophy to diverse genres, planning out booklists, catch a little smut, underline sentences I'll never read again, dream up novels I'll never write, and think about the poetry I'll never finish.
