I’m not the type of person you described and perfer in relationships when we are legitimate partners and jointly make decisions. One person can be more submissive towards something things and the other for other things, but all-in-all I like being on pretty much equal footing.
That being said, I would prefer if society could shift a bit more so that women weren’t expected to be submissive and men totally assertive. I don’t want to castrate men and turn all women into raging dykes. I just want either gender to be able to get away easier with both. And I think submissive males have it way worse than dominant women. Submissive males seem to frequently be portrayed as losers and that’s no good.

Any books that will convince me there's such things as real love in the world?
