45 years from now all the best selling writers will be people that were grew up in a vacuum. Totally isolated from mass entertainment and internet culture. People whose brains were not wired from childhood to think in terms cinematic storytelling and to the pace of tv sitcoms. And they will be marketed as such.

DFW is now the author of your favorite novel. What changes?

I didn't have a problem with Faulkner writing from the perspective of a mentally challenged Person in The sound and the fury.
I do not have a problem with DFW writing from the perspective of a black in Infinite Jest.
