I have a job interview at Barnes and Nobles tomorrow for a book seller job. What do I say to impress them?

I was given a Barnes and Noble gift card. Are there three in this collection that are worth reading, or should I forego the discount and just get whatever I want since it's free money anyway?

After reading this thread I wrapped a belt around myself under my shirt, went up to my local book rip-off store and liberated something

Hey, /lit/

As a professional theif, I wanted to give you some tips that might interest you.

B&N has what is known as a "non-confrontational theft policy". Most places have them, but there's in advantageous in particular because in their training, they want to minimize police involvement or any potential incidents that will look bad for/at the store. So, they won't call the cops. Also, if the cops are going to be called, it has to be by a manager, meaning, if an EMPLOYEE sees you, they have to tell the manager FIRST, and then, then, it is unlikely they will call the cops because they (a)didn't see it first hand, (b) their policy on non-confrontation/image damaging, and most importantly, (c):

... they have three specific criteria that must be met for it to even "count" as witnessing shoplifting. So, -a manager-, in order to call the cops or have security detain you, must see ALL of the following:

1) you browsing merchandise
2) you removing merchandise from the shelf
3) concealing said merchandise and/or leaving the store with the removed merchandise

I'm a cashier at a B&N and I bet you are the kind of asshole who tries to strike up a conversation while there is a line behind you.

SPOILER ALERT: There are other customers and normal people appreciate being rung up quickly.

I actually mention the books someone is buying only about once every two weeks. And only about once a month do I exchange more than a sentence about them. When I do this it is to recommend something else because B&N is a goddamn business.

If you want to chat, find someone at customer service, they aren't under time constraints. Though, we will probably just tolerate you as you verbally jack off all over the copy of Gravity's Rainbow you will probably not buy and wind up leaving somewhere else for us to put away.

In conclusion, fuck you.
