Therein lies the conundrum. I've connected with some really nice people who I'd like to mention it to but then again there's the rest of /lit/. This is from book 3. MC and his friends are being forced at gunpoint for him to race despite not having stepped inside a racing hovercraft (video game wipeout?) in 18 years. He retired at the top of his game when he said no to going pro to become a star fighter. First book out soon, new book every 3-4 months for the next three years. I'm tired of staring at these books and while I would have preferred to gone with traditional publishing, no one answers email queries. If they said "no, you suck" I could handle it, but when dozens of queries get ZERO response it's time to say fuck it, make it look good, push it out into the world and start the next project. I've been critical of my work and I've been blessed to have a group of beta readers to say "fix this" or " I don't understand that". The typos are fixed, the grammatical errors are gone. Right now I'm just polishing the flow.
