the situation described in >>13923445 is grotesquely similar to today but most people seem to accept this probably because they see that everyone has the same starting point yet chads always end up at the top. they can only blame themselves because the system gave them equal opportunities but they still failed. there is no system to revolt against, no man, no ideology, nothing to blame except god and yourself.
of course exceptions exist but those exception are strongly demonized in today's society and nonetheless they barely do anything other than further stigmatize themselves.
