What are some nonfiction sonder books? Preferably something is a biography or interview of many people. The people in a village, a group of artists, or something of the sort.

Everything before

>Acknowledging this turns me to contemplation of society. And if, when observing this malfunctioning society, I am in fact observing myself. Only two logical paths of action come to mind, either start working towards improvement or blowing my fucking brains out.

I agree with, find fascinating, and have been thinking about recently.

Why would any of that make you upset in any way? It's less depressing for me to think of myself as communicating cells kept alive by heat that will eventually pass out of my body then to think of myself as a special individual entity that's a tool of God/going to die after living a short meaningless life.

It's a weird distinction and kind of hard to explain. But I don't understand why it would make you depressed, I find it comforting.

Hello /lit/
Allow me to start of by saying I occasionally come here from time to time to catch up on some reading material (i.e. Some books posted)
I've actually started to like this board and it's people. Though I'm not as intelligent as most of you, this may be true, I do enjoy reading (my book taste is horrific)

So, I come with a few questions.
Would you please post some reading material of any sorts and maybe go so far as to posting a short description of material along with why you find it so interesting (.i.e. your favorite book.)

Many Thanks.

Post something, critique something. Give a real critique - it doesn't have to be long but should be more meaningful than "it's shit" or "I liked it". If something is absolute garbage, say it is, just say why. I'll start with a poem but post anything original.

I was very surprised to learn that was a word for the phenomenon that pic related describes.

I come to you with a question today /lit, is there a word for what I'm about to describe.

When you want to do something that you can only do within a given window of time but you know as soon as you try to do it that window of time will close. At the same time you know that if you do not do it, that window of time will remain open.

For example, this is rather morally unsound but it's a clear example.

Let's say you want to fuck one of your neighbors but you're already married. Your wife has gone out for a little bit. You would like to call your neighbor over so you can fuck her brains out but you know as soon as you call her your wife will pull in. On the converse, if you do not call her, your wife will remain at the store or wherever she is.

I know this is a coincidence but I'm wondering if there's a more accurate and specific word to describe this type of phenomena.

Thanks.

Share with me your favorite poetry /lit/. I haven't really paid much attention to poetry in my life and haven't come across any poetry that really wows me enough to want to read everything the author wrote. Looking to start reading poetry this year.

What does /lit/ think of these definitions?
A lot of them seem very spot on as far as otherwise indescribable feelings go.

The atheism board is like a homing beacon for edgy, fedora wearing, neck-bearded pseudo-faggots.
