just wanted a kjv with doré's illustrations, hard cover, thick paper and actually readable font-size. and also, the other 'regular' shitter versions of KJV I found were almost as expensive, so why not pay a bit more for something nice that will last my whole life and could be passed on to someone...

and its pretty comfy reading this edition

Are the Barnes & Noble Leatherbound Classics bound in real leather or faux leather?

If you want to pay a bit more, I suggest barnes & noble, it is very nice, got illustrations by Doré and shit, its a 10/10 edition to keep for life and pass to somebody

Also this is a general recommendation, I never made pass the first 2~3 books reading it online, but when I got the physical copy, I started reading it consistently.

Should have bought the Barnes and Noble edition.
Only $20, but looks like it's $500.

It has 200 Gustave Dore illustrations, gold lining and a bookmark.
It's a work of art.

I know /lit/ hates these Barnes & Noble editions, but this is the only king james bible I've found available with the Gustave Dore illustrations, so isn't it worth it?

Also pretty cheap for what it is.
