I cant speak for anyone else but I couldn't be content in a lack of knowledge. Whenever I hear people talk about things I don't understand I always have to go and research it. I think the 'content' mentality is what leads a huge number of people down the fundamental religious path. They are perfectly content in the Idea that God is responsible, and nothing needs examining further.

I for one am glad that people have always strived to understand things in more and more depth. To look for things we cant see, otherwise I would be riding a horse to my candle lit lectures at uni.
