I wouldn't go so far as to call them "stupid" but a culture that burns widows alive, sacrifices children to dark gods, and defecates on the ground certainly is savage. Maybe it's not their fault that they never developed civilization but that doesn't change the fact that the Indian subcontinent is backward and benighted as fuck.

I hear the science fiction publishing houses are all pretty discriminatory. Also, should I insert some sort of agenda into the story to make it more appealing?
