No, it isn't. Let's do some Comp. Religion 101. The teachings of Jesus had very little to do with Eastern philosophy/religion. While there are certain beats shared between the two, Christ's teachings and Buddha's teachings are very different. Buddha taught that people need to detach themselves from physical reality in because this causes suffering. Jesus taught this because it causes separation from God. Buddha taught nonviolence because, to piss off Hindus and Buddhists, what goes around comes around. Jesus taught nonviolence because we all are God's children, equal in his sight. Both religions have opposite ways of viewing time and being. In Christianity, there is a beginning and an end to all things. God said "Let there be light" and it was good; Christ will return and he will judge the quick and the dead. Buddhists believe that one lives many times until one finally achieves enlightenment. Most damningly, (heh) both of these teachings have opposite views on how to achieve salvation. In Buddhism, one achieves Nirvana by adopting Buddha's teachings by following the Eightfold Path. In Christianity, salvation comes through Christ's sacrifice to cleanse us of our sins, which are what separate us from God. Buddha was a teacher in Buddhism, explaining to the masses to end suffering and samsara; Christ is the teacher and redeemer in Christianity.

tl;dr: Christianity and Buddhism do share some teachings, but converge on them from radically different places.

Of course, you may be a complete idiot or worse yet, a troll instead of the rational adult I presupposed you to be so, possibly pic related.
