What are some books that will teach me how to raise my IQ?

Men literally are extremists by nature, this has been documented and discussed at length. It's because a single man is capable of having a virtually unlimited number of offspring and thus men don't all have to spread their genes to make the next generation, you'd be fine with just a few particularly fit specimens each making an army of babies. We are a much more viable source of diversity for natural selection than women, so we are set up in a way that produces more extreme results on both sides of any category while women gravitate towards the middle.

Evolution is throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks, this is present in other species as well.

It's because of a somewhat extreme application of the 'men are either geniuses or retards, whereas all women are midwits' principle. Men for various reasons (tastes, social pressure, etc.) don't read schlock entertainment, so if they read at all it has to be advanced. You end up with almost all women reading, but generally reading trash, and just a few men reading, but generally reading actual literature.

Men that get exposed to higher levels of radiation (therefor suffer higher mutagenic load therefor are less likely to produce competitive male offspring) also birth more females. Im sure theres some kind of undiscovered evolutionary mechanism here that recognizes that its male offspring likely wont have reproductive success and opts for the less "profitable" but more "secure" variant of continuing your line via daughters.
The reproductive advantage of men is that they can reproduce alot more than women. A woman can carry about a baby a year for lets say 30 years if shes nothing but a broodmare. A man could impregnate 1000+ women a year (also carrying the benefit of increased genetic diversity). However reproductive success of a woman is pretty much ensured meanwhile male reproductive success is "all-or-nothing". Its also self correcting as other anons pointef out.

tbf you're a middling IQ male who would have only met other middling IQ males. The difference between men and women only becomes pronounced when you go up and down the bellcurve
