All of the books above are classics, but they were written at the same time as their set time period.

So can a book like Blood Meridian ever go down in history even though the guy who wrote it will never directly experience the time period in which he wrote it?


If this has ever happened please post examples (books that we still read but were writte nabout the 1400s by a guy in the 1840s))
