I compartmentalize my internet and real self. On the internet, I speak hyperbolically, antagonize users, adopt stances based on aesthetic value rather than practical. Very rarely do I post sincerely, or reveal anything genuine about myself, as I have learned that the internet is a poor surrogate for community. In real life, I am bashful, soft spoken, only slightly disagreeable and very rarely feel strongly about anything.
