In Blade runner 2049 there's an aside where one of Nabokov's books is shown and mentioned, I only know about the Lolita story and the book shown wasn't that. It had a white cover I remember that, possibly it was "The eye" as Blade runner has a running theme about eyes and that's a title I saw when I did a quick search.
Anyway I want to know about the main themes of Nabokov's work, and if you have seen the film maybe put forward a suggestion on why Nabokov was brought up, was the film inspired by him in some way, does it have his themes, character types etc.
