When I see that word, I think of this.

This is a great image I found when looking up "Burgerpunk."

Also, it'd be nice if these places looked like half-timbered late Medieval or Renaissance-style Germanic houses instead of uglyass modernist blocks.

All this talk of "burgerpunk" made me look up images under that term. I found this.

Also, there are worse images to use such as the ones of thick air pollution in Chinese cities or water pollution around Asia.

I will admit it would be nice if that automobile rest area was an underground chamber instead of above ground and if more highways were actually underground tunnels.

The downside would be decreased opportunity for looking at the scenery.
