There will be massive facilities much larger than we have ever seen, solely dedicated to researching genetics (in conjunction with AI). What cannot be achieved through genetic engineering at first will be achieved through selective breeding, so that at least we can measure the genes of the highest quality individuals, and how to produce them ourselves. As our intelligence grows we will solve more problems, and create better intelligence, and better technology, and so on. It is impossible to predict exactly what will happen, but we truly will be apes compared to them. That is how we will build the Overman.
