Woah.. Just finished Wizards First Rule. The first half was mediocre but the second half was crazy. The last 300 pages were hard to put down. I couldn't wait to see what happened next. This is a flawed but very enjoyable book. I'm feeling a strong 4/5.

My Aunt gave me pic related. It was a mediocre at best fantasy book that starts like a 10 book long series or something.

The weird part was that there was almost 100 pages of masochistic torture type stuff that was pretty sexual performed on the main character by a woman.My aunt is a typical conservative southern lady about 50 years of age. Was weird when she asked how I liked it, she had read it before she gave it to me.
