Gnosis is nondogmatic and open-ended. It is simply a way of describing being a mystical Christian, in my opinion; I consider many of the great Christian mystics such as Teresa de Avila and Hildegaard von Bingen to offer a gnostic-like approach to their relationship with God.

But gnosticism also overlaps with other movements from them time such as Neo-Platonism, Zoroastrianism, and the esoteric Essenes and Nazarenes. It's very interesting stuff.

I wonder how many of the zoomers who post gnostic memes have actually read the source texts. I highly recommend the following:
* Hymn of the Pearl
* Gospel of Thomas
* Apocalypse of John
* Pistis Sophia
All easily accessible online in various translations.

What's the best version of the bible for the most accurate version of the Old/New testament that isn't the original language it was written in?
