I just want to let the newfags know that the real butters was as loved on /lit/ as a tripfag can be. All of this recent drama started when anons impersonating butters for shitposting purposes tricked the /pol/ newfag zoomers into thinking they were actually her, which wasn't difficult because they don't understand the nature of tripcodes. The newfags became obsessed and started spamming the catalog with "anti-butters" threads, thinking that they were cooking up some le ebic trolls, not realizing that they were being trolled themselves and have probably never interacted with the actual butters.
