Who else having English has a second language has a hard time coming up with words and while writing? Specifically, not writing on the level you thought you would be after reading a bunch of books, those mostly consisted of post-modern ones which are believed to be harder, tougher even for the American.

Most likely the cause , I think, is the need of using my primary language while communicating with others, transforming the language in my mind back to my native, and with that, all the process of following up with more words. In effect, my English feels to me, and to others, convoluted and unnatural.

Will writing more help me? Or I need to have a stricter discipline on keeping my thoughts English?
