This place is full of risk-adverse virgins who will never have a fast car, a sick loft, tons of bitches to fuck, and any book ideas with the confidence and dedication to complete them without caring if they work or not because life will find a way to continue being an adventure... that's how writers and artists live. Absolutely scared faggots all over /lit/ without any backbone needed to publish their own work.

Do you have any paperbacks printed with you right now?

I print my own paperbacks and have been able to get the cost down to $1 per book. I intend to sell them at $25 a copy, the same price you'd find a Penguin Random House novel at the local store.

Anon, doesn't it feel like creative works of culture have been heavily degraded in value while assets like housing are completely inflated?

You're not going to have a healthy population and society when owning a house or a blank piece of land is so much more valuable than producing any works of art and self-expression. You'll fill your society full of bug people who are spoon-fed "culture" from global organizations...

Buying ads is the easiest way.

Don't go print-on-demand, get all the equipment, including the binder, and make them yourself!

Get her a home binding machine and tell her to write her magnum opus.

Oh man thank you, I have to work on it, I've been so fucked since the heatwave. My glue is all shitty now from being above 40c for several days. I've barely been able to shitpost on /Lit/ and try and avoid alcohol.

The percentages are mostly a joke, but in general, it's kind of how far I am in outlining the plot. Pretty much most of the work on my books, the difficult part, is just having a few sentences outline each chapter. Once that part is done, finishing the rest of the book becomes easy.

Print the books yourself. Put effort into the entire process. Sell your books locally and from your own website and keep 100% of the profits.

It is in the process of being colonized by self-publishing, book binder schizos who refuse to be wagie in the cagie or give 2/3rds of their profit to Amazon or Lulu.

I needed to get a paper chopper first, then get the blade sharpened, then when I finally got it back, I figured out fast that if... IF... if I hit a legendary target of 10 books a day... there is no way I could make 10 books a day without spending allllll day doing it to get the craftsmanship high enough.

Using a perfect book binding machine will, hopefully, make things soooo simple.

I picked up one of these bad mofos, so cutting is now a breeze. The printer works great but is low on toner. A Brother 5200DW.

If I can earn even half as much as the Canadian black rappers I see with massive stacks of cash in their videos, I'll be good!
