So, what is everyone's favorite excerpt from WWZ?

What did you guys think of this book?

Go in expecting random people's first-hand experiences with zombies.

Ended up with a bunch of retarded, unecessarily thorough political ramblings.

How terrible is this book? I'm just going to assume that it's terrible because it's about zombies, but just how bad is it? Is there any depth or merit here at all? Any interesting themes or new/novel concepts?

/lit/ im lookin for a good zombie book, preferably audio books.

i started world war z a few days ago and didnt like it because it feels like you are watching history channel.
i would also like a zombie book in which there are no retard moves like its so often the case. e.g. in dawn of the dead when people start to freak out on each other and 1 brings the whole group in danger by running after her shitty dog. or these dumb alpha male acting of who the boss is n shit. i would love something like the road but in a zombie scenario

Saw a preview for the upcoming movie, was pretty intrigued, found out it's based on a book and here I am now.

It looks like a pretty interesting premise (if you like zombies anyway) but haven't seen much about around here. What am I in for /lit/? Full on pleb tier or zombie patrician quality?
