Yes, I relate to all of this. It's kind of scary how accurately you describe it, I've never heard anyone put it like that before. That discrepancy of egos is my biggest fear and vulnerability. What is wrong with us?

Do you know any good horror book im looking to lose sleep

What's a book that can instruct me to become more graceful? I don't consider myself an awkward man, i'm very successful socially and such, but i find that i lack some grace in dealing with these things. For instance, something as simple as saying hello, or shaking someones hand, or getting someones attention without eye contact; i want to read a book that examines all these things. I used to be very shy and awkward in social situations. I found that once i challenged these situations and things which i was scared of and found difficult I greatly improved as a person and established very meaningful relationships with a lot of people around me.
I have some very charismatic friends who are graceful in all their social interactions and I guess I just want to learn what it is I'm not doing which stops me from being like them.
I know the Victorians and other cultures that took this sort of thing seriously wrote books about all the different proper ways to do things, would something like this help me out?

Paul Rhoads did these, you said? They're surprisingly decent: reminds me of the illustrations from the better editions of the Frank Baum Oz books. I wouldn't go so far as to actively long for them, though--my ebooks are now satisfactory.
