What does Schopenhauer want for humanity to do? What is our purpose on Earth? How can we better achieve it?

Only read his epistemology so far. Some concepts are pretty hard to grasp, but I'm overall on board with the idea of everything being relative and the world as it seems to us only existing in a framework of cause-effect relations, which we can experience due to our a priori ability to "see" space and time. I can also get behind the concept of reason and emotion being two separate entities, as well as the varying manifestations of reason and its use (rhetorics and science for example)
