Revolt from the Modern World

so long as you have a proper classical background it's eye opening (ie, read the greeks first)

You somehow believe Marxism to be worth studying, or "getting right", as if this were desirable, let alone possible.

Even to hold Marxism as an academic object, theoretically not-practiced, is to legitimate it. But, like capitalists (and more precisely, capitalist managers), Marxists love praxis, and so would never seriously entertain the ivory tower for long, unless there's book deals involved (a praxis of ideas, you see, with some idea-trade). It (not actually /doing something/) is against their culture.

/lit/ is a well-behaved first-world leftist board, by 4chan's standards, which makes it possible to inhabit a certain ivory tower. It is even possible, for presumptive leftists to comfortably ad-hom without direct engagement of ideas.

Can Marxism's critique of Capitalism be synthesised with Traditionalism? It seems to me as though both Marxists and Traditionalist are opposed to Capitalism, (albeit for different reasons) and that the wealth of Marxist theory is invaluable useful for both ideologies, especially the theories of groups like the Situationalists.

Daily reminder the person/s trying to discredit Evola have never actually reading anything by him except for copying out of context quotes taken from Goodreads.
