So, has anyone read the new Dresden Files book? If so, what are your thoughts?

Molly turning to the Lady scares the crap out of me. That love triangle is gonna get fierce with her over Harry. Also, I can't wait for the next book to see Lash.

I've got 13 on my shelf right now. Last one was Ghost Story. Best part is, he makes pic related not seem utterly ridiculous, except it's missing the dummerboy doctor riding behind him.

/lit/'s opinion? I've heard a few positive comments about this series and the premise intrigues me, but they are not available in my language and I'd like to buy the English version of the first book to see for myself. Is it worth it?

They don't? I mean, the first couple lag a little, but they're still really interesting noir fiction, with the spice of magic making it truely interesting.

I read the first one, enjoyed it but didn't think it was particulary good. I've heard a lot of people didn't like the first one though, so I'll read a few more.

The Dresden Files is a really fun read. It's a long continuing series with 12 books out already and plans for at least 23 total. The first two books are good but once it gets to book 3 and on it's fucking amazing.
