So are there any other books written by anons? Yes I’m aware that F. Gardner has tons of other books and that this is part of his series. But I’d like to read some lesser known /lit/ works. Go ahead and recommend me any books that came out of /lit/ and provide a brief synopsis. No spoilers though please.

What are we naming this literary movement that F Gardner has started? Will this begin a trend of more authors from 4chan?

The age of Gardnerposting has gotten to the point where I am now unironically reading through Gardner’s books just to see what they’re all about. The comparisons I’ve seen to The Room are accurate. Is this why people read F Gardner’s books or is it because of the twist endings these apparently have?

I finished reading CotC a few nights ago. I liked the Divine Comedy references and thought it was clever how it essentially retells Dante’s book in a modern day setting. I have my questions about the plausibility of the story however. The idea of a kid just randomly getting eaten by a crocodile in the middle of Chicago is crazy. But I liked the out of body chapters and loved how the whole twist came together for the big reveal. Are there any other books I should be aware of from 4chan or is CotC the only one? I plan on reading through the rest of F Gardner’s books at a future date. But I want to get a taste of what other literature this board has produced in the meantime.

In your opinion what are the best modern classics?

It took me a while but I read all of Call of the Crocodile. 10/10. This board is going to go down in history for the biggest mindfuck ever in terms of plot twists. The second half of this was completely off the rails insanity. Good job /lit/.

This book made me feel like my whole life is a lie and an illusion. Any more books that create the same effect? Why is the idea of tulpas not explored more often in literature?

Why can’t all meme books be this good? Infinite Jest and Gravity’s Rainbow were a chore to finish and boring as hell. Call of the Crocodile was complete madness in book form and the twist was crazy! Are the rest of the Horror’s Call books this good? No bad opinions allowed. This thread is only for f gardner enjoyers.
