this book was recommended to me by someone who’s claimed to be very well read, and honestly this recommendation made me questions that. She compared it to hemingway (was reading garden of eden at the time) and I just kinda hate read it until the end. I think there’s a bit of interesting commentary about relationship dominance and the abuse in her past leading her to seek out love that reflects that, but the writing style and wattpadesque scenarios overpowered that.
