Sometimes I fear about my faith in the Buddha and his practices. How legitimate it is for some european guy who's still catholic on paper to call himself a buddhist.

I perform the rites as best as I can on my own, try to see the world through a lens of the teachings and by this point it's simply how I see things, an effortless way of understanding, the default.

That's what faith is about I suppose. To hold on even in doubt. Sometimes I wish I had someone around me I could talk to about this. Talking to my asian friend might be a possibility but she isn't all too fond of her original country.
