Did anyone read this book?
I just had a random thought and was wondering about the ending: Does an annual peaceful festival happen in place of the hunger games?
The games were a major event and rare communication between districts. To have nothing in their place would leave a cultural void. The concept of a yearly gathering could be repurposed into an event to reflect on the lessons of the past and explore paths for the future.
I don't know how extensive the epilogue is.

IMO what Bradbury cautioned people about should be seen as equally, if not more pertinent than Orwell's message to American middleschoolers. Especially now that they teach shit like this in actual classrooms.

What's your opinion about The hunger games trilogy: Mockingjay? I mean, the first two are kind of childish, but the theme of the third one is more like a politic-kind-of plot where there's no childish stuff anymore. There is treachery, there's war propaganda and there's real action war. It's more like a companion of the trilogy. What's your opinion.
