Is a copy of Atlas Shrugged the quintessential bookshelf red flag?

Sup lit, thinking of getting into ole Rand's works soon, been hearing a lot of great things about them. Do you guys think she's a valuable author to dive into, and if so, what novels of hers should I start with?

This book lights a fire under me, the fact that it makes people seethe so hard is all the better.

Not even joking. The author of The Satanic Bible literally admitted that he just ripped Rand's philosophy.

In 10th grade we got to pick books to do book reports on. I wanted to read Huckleberry Finn, but my teacher was a cunt so she made me read Atlas Shrugged just to torture me. I will never get the many hours I wasted on those one-thousand-and-something pages back. I didn't read a book by own will for like 2 years after that.

She was about 100 years ahead of her time. Anyone that has made it in their lives know she's right. Beard stroking philosophers and literary critics can keep fuming.
