Lad my fiancee is Christian and most weeks I go along with her to church and trust me if I decided to hang around at the end and ask that question literally none of them would be able to give consistent answers.

Perhaps it's just the kind of church that she goes to (it's called something like non-denominational post-pentacostal, whatever that means exactly) but it all seems incredibly wishy-washy and feelgood and propagated on the 'nice doctrine' where above all else you just have to be nice, not scripture, not teaching, not faith, not theology, not deeds, not commandments, not even god really, just be nice to people. Of course god gets a lot of the credit because they constantly affirm platitudes like 'god is love' and so on, but there's absolutely no conviction of fervor to any of it and no hard theology to fall back on.

Pic related was some guy going off on the same kind of problem he sees within the church, albeit from a Christian perspective.

I've asked at church and the people there won't even condemn sin or sinners no matter how horrendous their actions. They just feel that condemnation is a big, bad scary word that doesn't fall under the category of 'nice' and so they won't do it no matter what. It's quite bewildering honestly.

I believe Jesus Christ exists and came to earth and I believe that there is evidence for his existence, what I am curious as to though is if there is any historical evidence for his divine acts.
