He got the right feel but hit the wrong target. What's happening is that racism and the expression of it is an inherent human trait/need. Either you're outright racist, racist with a bit of deceit, or the worst (in this case the white liberals) you suppress it, until it bursts out in another way. One way or another it needs to be expressed. That's why it's impossible for liberals to maintain their anti-racism stance with any amount of consistency, all they do is switch groups and express their racism against their old group. So instead of being racist against blacks for example they try to join the black group and start being racist against whites instead. That's why there is not a single anti-racism person that doesn't sooner or later hit some form of hypocrisy that he does mental gymnastics around to justify it. All humans are inherently racist and need to express it.
