anon..... my heart is heavy for you. it's hard for me to find words, but... earlier this year, someone close to me took his own life. many of his high school teachers didnt understand what they were dealing with, so his mom really had to step in and make sure he had a good support system. your post reminded me of this time we were in a car, and i was listening to a podcast, he asked what i was listening to, and i started talking about it. i think it was about some supreme court case or something. and he was looking down and to the side, and said in a soft voice, "how do you know all this stuff..." he worked at a movie theater and worked at a restaurant and he was a hard worker, better than me. but those guys didnt know how to treat him either. he was 22. anon, i know my words might not mean much to you, but i will tell you what i wish i could tell him. i know life fucking sucks and some of us arent as special as others, but thats ok. please find what you like doing and just do what you can to sustain it. see your family and see your friends, we want to see you, we wish we could. your job and your knowledge and all this other shit doesnt matter, i dont care if you think youre not as smart as the others, i want you back. everybody wanted to see you happy, you think it doesnt matter but it does. anon, i want to see you happy, i dont want you to struggle, i dont want you to leave. there's so much i still never showed you. fuck work, stop caring about those assholes, do what makes you happy.
